About the Instructor

Joel Maxwell has over 9 years of law enforcement and 16 years of military experience. For five years, he served as training director for the Greene County Sheriff’s Department. He deployed for Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, where he commanded and was a recipient of the bronze star medal. He currently serves as an instructor for the Missouri National Guard Officer Candidate School.
